Socceroos drawn in tough group

The Socceroos were drawn in a tough group that includes the two finalists from the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the 2014 World Cup draw.

The Socceroos were drawn in Group B which also has Spain, Netherlands and Chile.

Spain are the defending champions whilst the Netherlands were the runners up from the previous tournament.

Also both Spain and the Netherlands qualified for the finals without losing a single match.

' Chile qualified third in the South American qualifiers only four points behind leaders Argentina. Also Chile is playing on its continent.

So it will be a mountain to climb for the Socceroos in Group B.

The rest of the World Cup draw is as follows:

Group A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon.

Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia.

Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan.

Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy.

Group E : Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras.

Group F: Argentina, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Iran, Nigeria.

Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA.

Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea.
